So we built the calculator we wished existed, and wrapped it in the field notes we kept learning the hard way.
We make free, genuinely accurate calculators for every kind of wall treatment — wallpaper today, wood slat and acoustic panels now, and more categories on the way — each paired with a plain-English buying guide. Our goal is for you to order once, order right, and love the result.
The guides are written by our team and read for accuracy by Rochelle A., an interior decorator and wallcovering installer in Palm Beach County, Florida, who has spent her whole career doing this work on residential and commercial jobs. She is the reason the site exists. Where she and a published source disagree, we say so on the page.
Our estimates use standard trade methods: the drop method for wallpaper, panel-and-row counting for slat walls, linear-foot counting for battens. Every formula, every default buffer and every product dimension we assume is published in full on how we calculate, along with a changelog of every correction we have made and why. If our arithmetic is wrong, that page is how you catch us.
We link out to manufacturer specifications, trade associations and retail listings as evidence for the figures we publish, and we date every price. Wall coverings vary; treat our figures as a well-reasoned starting point, not a guarantee, and always confirm against the product's own label before you order.
Today, we do not. There are no affiliate links, no sponsorships and no paid placements on this site, and nothing here earns us anything if you click it. We intend to fund the site with display advertising and possibly affiliate links in future, and when that changes we will say so on how we make money on the day it happens.
