Every figure our calculators produce is an estimate based on the dimensions you enter and the assumptions documented on our methodology page. Real walls are not rectangles, real products vary from their stated specification, and real installation produces waste we cannot predict from here.

We are not liable for material ordered short, ordered long, or ordered wrong on the basis of an estimate from this site. If you find an error in our arithmetic, please tell us and we will correct it and log the correction.
